Hot on the heels of Nikon’s official webcam software release, Canon has announced its free full production version of the EOS Webcam Utility Software for both macOS and Windows, bringing with it compatibility for 43 EOS and PowerShot cameras and 14 video conferencing services. The package software will install the following components: EOS Utility 2, EOS Utility 3, EOS Lens Registration Tool, EOS Web Service Registration Tool. The EOS Utility 3 supports camera models from Canon’s top range such as EOS 7D Mark II, EOS-1D X, EOS-1D C, EOS 5D Mark III, and EOS 6D. If you use Mac OS X, click the EOS Utility icon registered in the Dock. If a screen for selecting the program (application) appears, select Canon EOS Utility and then click OK.
